Created by Foster AKA AutoPilot and Caleb "The Negro Artist" Rainey, House of Words is a new & interactive open mic where creatives have a home that fosters and supports their growth while providing top notch entertainment for those who appreciate performing arts.

We provide a platform for creatives to showcase their talents in poetry, music, singing, and comedy.

The event offers 12 slots of 5 minutes for performances, followed by 4 slots for the best performers to showcase their talent for a 10 minute spotlight, which is professionally filmed.

House of Words hosts its events on the third Sunday of every month in Grand Rapids, MI, and on the third Thursday of every month in Iowa City, IA.
